Cycle Day 45, 15 days late!

I had a blood draw instead of waiting for results on a pee stick.

Results came with the HCG and Progestrone that I didn't ovulate this month. I'm not pregnant..

Just one hear break after another, but I had a feeling I didn't ovulate because I never felt the pain on one side.

Now I'm Provera for 10 days to start a period, hopefully soon, then back to IVF for one last try..

Cycle Day 37 DPO 21

Well, nothing has changed. Still no AF or spotting, and still negative pregnancy test.

My mom told me her doctor told her when she was pregnant that to check or take a test 12-15 days after your missed period.

I found an interesting thread about some girls not finding out until 4 to 8 weeks of a missed period..

I don't know if I fall in that category, but I will wait a full 2 weeks to test again, if not I will call the doctor for testing.

Curious of what's going on, doesn't seem like my hyperplasia or PCOS acting up, especially having milky white cm coming out still...

The wait continues..

Cycle Day 31 DPO 16

Did another pregnancy test, it's either a negative or a extremely faint positive.

Still no AF, but I'm not sure if its my hyperplasia acting back up or if I am pregnant.
By next Monday if no AF, I'm to call Dr. Ku office to make sure everything is okay or maybe test..

Only time will tell, but I'm still extremely sleepy, stuffy/runny nose with blood, pinching and cramping. BBs hurt from time to time, some left or right side. Craving chocolate chip cookies and potato chips and pickles.

I do have trouble sleeping at night and I get really bad restless legs..

Cycle Day 29 DPO 14

Well, so far no AF, well see tomorrow, I keep checking my undies but I still keep feeling wet down there, it's still like a watery milky white CM, and sometimes I get a stinging sharp burning pain on my boobs, yesterday my hips were hurting again.

Tomorrow I go back to work, I'm nervous but I'm ready, feels like I'm going back to school after a summer break.

I've managed to sleep a major part of my Sunday, I still get really sleepy during the day.
Well see how this goes.

All my test so far have been BPN, I guess I'll wait till Tuesday morning and if AF isn't here, I'll test again..

Getting somewhat worried that something else is wrong with me, only thing is that I'm not spotting like other times before just this CM milky discharge..

The wait continues..

Cycle Day 26 DPO 11

Well I tested probably too soon on 9 dpo and 10. Both days were BFN.

Most start to see positives on 13-15 dpo.

My first pregnancy, I didn't get a BFP until 16-17 DPO, I'll start testing again unless the AF shows up beginning Saturday-Sunday I always spot the day before AF starts.

Not too many symptoms other than very tired and sleepy, headache everyday, stuffy nose with blood streaks, sore throat when I wake up, weird dreams, watery milky CM still, cramps like my period is about to start. It comes and goes, maybe some sensitivity with my boobs and nipples but nothing major. I have been getting restless legs and having a hard time getting to sleep..

Not looking forward to go bak to work again..

Still drinking my shakes, I have noticed my taste buds are changing, nothing taste right. I'm craving chips and pickles. Chocolate chip cookies from McD's

Another TMI but today I went back to being backed up again, I had a few days of opposite of that.. Probably flux of hormones..

Cycle Day 23 DPO 8

Today is going to be a bit of a TMI Labor Day update...

I have a lot of creamy CM, and feeling super wet but not EWCM, but just water, where it feels as if I kinda pee'd myself.

Still have a light headache on and off today, and I've been super super sleepy, can't seem to get enough sleep..

No shake today, I'm going to the store tomorrow for more bananas and oranges..

I'll be testing on 13 DPO, all this weekend unless AF shows up.
But so far I'm not having a dry spell like a normal cycle before AF arrives, but if this month is a no go than we will go for next month, if nothing by October than I'll try IVF again.

Which I will be dreading.. It's not a fun process and somewhat painful.

Cycle Day 20, DPO 5

Been cramping on and off, it's very light, and last night I had a sharp pinching feeling on my left lower side. Lower back was killing me and I couldn't get to sleep no matter how hard I tried, restless leg syndrome was getting the best of me yesterday. BB's hurt but it also comes and goes.
Been extremely sleepy today and still have a headache for the past 3 days now.

Temp was 97.5, felt warm today, I feel worn out and I haven't even done anything.

Haven't checked my CM but I'm definitely not dry..

No shake today, I just got a glass of milk, mixed in 1 tsp Maca and 4 tsp of strawberry quik. Good enough..

I do need to go buy bananas, I'm out and some oranges from Aldi since Tom Thumb charges an arm and leg for fruit.

About to go get ready for some dinner tonight with friends, contemplating if I want to get a margarita. I want one but its best not too I suppose..

I'll be taking all my vitamins at night again to make sure they are absorbed into my body and not peeing them out right away.

Also wanted to add today, I noticed I started to get some acne, I don't get pimples, but I have about 5-6 small ones that I noticed yesterday evening and today.. At least they are tiny..

Cycle Day 18, DPO 3

I've been having a headache almost everyday and today, feeling sleepy and lazy today.
I'm dreading going back to work on Sept 9th.

Today's stats:
CD 18, DPO 3: 97.5 Creamy CM

Today's fertility shake:
1 cup of orange juice forfeited calcium
1 cup of ice
1 frozen banana 
Shake of cinnamon
1tsp of vanilla extract
1 packet of Splenda
1 tsp of maca
1 tsp of royal jelly

Blend and enjoy!

I still take 3 pills of Fertilaid, 1 of conceive easy, 1 cod liver oil, 2 folic acid, 2 metformin.

I just read that you are to only take no more than 400mg of folic acid so I will check to see how much I'm taking and see if I need to cut back since Fertilaid and conceive easy have folic acid in them as we'll.

Cycle Day 17, DPO 2 Waiting game

Well spoke with the hubby, everything is smoothed over as of Saturday.

That's the nice thing to being married to a man that fixes the issues and has an open line of communication.

Yesterday and today the ovulation strips barely show any lines so I'm out of the fertile zone, I ovulated sometime between Saturday and Sunday I believe, I was a bit uncomfortable on Sunday with some light nausea and some cramping. So I think my AF was full flow on Sunday more than Saturday or just late ovulation, not to sure.

I didn't drink a maca royal jelly smoothly on Sunday just to have a day of rest.

Today's stats:
CD 17, DPO 2: 97.0 Sticky/Creamy CM

Today's fertility smoothie is
1cup of organic milk
1 frozen banana or regular
1 cup of ice
1 tbsp of vanilla
1good shake of cinnamon
1 Splenda packet or whatever sugar you use
1 tsp of maca
1 tsp of royal jelly

Feeling confused and hurt

Just recently my husband told me he felt forced when having sex here lately. That I'm pressuring him into it. It's completely made me depressed here lately.

I would go long periods of time without having sex, not because I wanted to do that, but because I was on some serious medication that didn't make things work for me down there, and times when it was a bit painful.

Plus it doesn't help when we'd have sex, I do all of the work, he would just lay there, and I'd have to ask if could please do whatever to me. Yes I'd have to say please or beg..
I'd like to feel loved too, like he desires me. It's rather hurtful when he would tell me every time that he's tired. To me, when I'm trying to have sex the last thing I want to hear is that your tired. Makes me feel like you just want me to hurry.. Or that your tired of me..

I'm a very passionate woman, I love hard and love to satisfy, but I also expect the same back..

Now back to current, he knows we are trying for a baby, and i feel like he's playing it off, makes me feel like he's working all this overtime on purpose, comes home and as no energy for sex.

My heart breaks to know that he isn't even trying and I'm going to have to start IVF again next month. I wanted to try naturally..

Oh we'll guess spewing in a cup is more fun than having sex with me.

We have had sex, but I don't know if its enough to last for when I ovulate tomorrow.

I've given up. If he's not into it, why am I even trying..

God I need my therapist again..

Going back to cry myself to sleep.. Nite!

Casting my spell

Spell is cast, it's a full moon.. Ready to BD.. I know I'm not ovulating but it's close.. My poor DH is woren out.. He's not use to having sex everyday anymore.

Just a few more days and he can rest.. I feel bad cause he has to work and I don't but I need him more than ever.

I don't know what to do to make him feel energized to rock my world. I do most of the work anyways.

I slipped him some enhancers but it doesn't take effect until he gets it up.. It's been an hour since he drank it but it doesn't seem like it did anything.. And I gave him some scoops of Maca.

Maca didn't come in effect until 2-3 days later..

I guess we'll see after tonight if it does anything for his libido.

My libido when it's working right, I can have sex multiple times a day, everyday!

What can I say I'm a Scorpio!!

Cycle Day 11

Well fair warning this might be a bit TMI..

After drinking maca root for 3 days now, I had increased it to 2tsp, and my libido is through the roof!
It is natures Viagra! I even notice it in my CM, it's that egg white type and a lot of it!
Especially today!!

Today's fertility drink is:

Frozen mix of strawberries
Frozen raspberries
Frozen blackberries
1/4cup of apple juice
1/2 cup of orange juice with banana
1/2 cup of odwalla super food
2 tsp of maca root
2 tsp of royal jelly (another super fertility item, it's sticky like honey)

Blend and drink!

I've also started to take today Cod liver oil soft gels.
Two pills folic acid they are 800 mcg a pill
3 pills of Fertilaid
1 pill of conceive easy

Then my normal
1000mg of metformin

I'm hoping my talisman comes soon from Mia Angel, it's coming from the UK.
Should be here any day..

It's nice not having to work right now while I'm going through this, work is so stressful!

Cycle Day 9

I bought my MACA powder today, and also odwalla superfood drink.

Here is the smoothie I made for fertility

2 pieces of pineapple 
5 frozen strawberries
I small banana
1/2 cup of odwalla superfood
1/2 of orange juice with 1 tsp of Maca powder mixed in
1 packet of Splenda 
1/4 cup of water
 Blended really well.. It's pretty good, can't taste the Maca at all.

I also received ConceiveEasy aka FertiliBella
I started taking that also along with FertilAid.

Hoping some results happen this week.. It's BD week!! So exciting!!

Hoping something happens so I don't have to do IVF next month!

Cycle Day 7

Can't wait for next week!

I've now been taking Fertilaid since I received it by mail for 3 days now.. It's 3 pills a day, not bad..
Also been taking Vitex up to 3 pills a day, tomorrow I'm going to get some royal jelly and Maca.

Still drinking my tea, it's not my favorite part.. Kinda getting old.. But anything to see if I can conceive on my own this month.

Fertibella is on its way, but I don't know it's okay to take with Fertilaid.. I'll check the ingredients once it arrives.

I have noticed my libido is up pretty high.. I'm a sexual beast when I'm in the mood.. And it's been a very long while.. ;)

Cycle Day 2

Started on AF yesterday full flow.. I'm sad but I know it's not the end.

I ordered Fertilaid again, and started to drink FertiliTea. Very good with people with PCOS.

I also ordered a fertility spell from Mia Angel. As soon as I get her instructions I will be doing them as instructed!

Aug 21 is a full moon and around the time I ovulate, I will be BDing many times..

I still wear my fertility bracelet I bought, most say it takes 1-3 months until others got pregnant. At this point I am trying everything and anything.

I know it will happen, it's just a matter of time/when..

In the mean while, I will focus on losing some weight again and healing myself.

Next cycle should begin Sept 6th, that's if we don't get pregnant inbetween. I rather get pregnant naturally vs IVF because its not a easy or comfortable process.. But we shall see, taking it day by day..

This IVF cycle was unsuccessful, Dr. Ku called me tolet me know that the beta test was less than 1. So it's negative results..

He wants to start the next cycle, no charge since we are not sure what happened with my eggs that all of them failed, except 2-3 of them..

I'm disappointed but I think this month of August before the next cycle starts, I'm going to try naturally. If not than September will be my 2nd cycle.

I ordered fertili aid again, I can't find the one I bought, but I'm going to start that and my fertili tea again, it works, I really do that helped with my endo lining and having regular periods.

Also female toner helped too.. I will continue to drink the teas, plus they taste very good!

Going to see if I can lose 20lbs also.. I need too for better chances and before the next round..

8dp5dt nervous..

Tomorrow is my beta, I'm a bit nervous.. I've been lightly bleeding since Tuesday, with Monday evening of the scant brown spotting.. Today is was a tiny bit heavier and the cramping was a bit stronger.. Tried to take it easy, but its on my mind.

It helps to know that some ladies bleed up to 5 days. It's still very light but not my typical period I'm use to getting which are pretty heavy for two of the 5-7 days I normally have. Plus my period is to really start tomorrow.

I'm trying to keep a blank thought, all I can think of is my one miracle embryo I've been blessed with so far. I pray every morning that my baby is growing to be healthy..

My symptoms vary from day to day.. Today, it was dizziness, yesterday was nausea.
But everyday had been diarrhea, and headaches, cramping, light bleeding mid day, and fatigue around 1-3pm.

I'll be updating tomorrow once the beta results are in.

5dp5dt Implantation?

I'm really not trying to worry, I had to google other girls symptoms, but after lastnight's brown spotting which is old blood, which could of happened from a few days before.

But today as of 30 mins I saw orange red blood.. And period cramping.. I'm worried.. I didn't think my period was to start this early.. Biggest suggestion was to rest and drink lots of water.

I have a liner on to monitor how much it is and color.. I'm going to go check but i did see some tissue pass which reminds me of my first pregnancy.

I'm hoping this isn't the end of this cycle, trying to remain positive and calm.

I think I'm going to go check again.. I was to test so bad but I'm scared too..

4dp5dt POI 1 Day

I was finally given the okay to use the progestrone oil injections, my poor husband was so nervous. I iced down my back so I wouldn't feel anything, only thing I felt was the needle go in but that didn't hurt.. I tried to keep calm so he wouldn't be a nervous wreck.

He texted his friends to let them know he was about to jab a needle in my back side. Their advice?.. Just say sorry, sorry, sorry.. And the other one told him to close his eyes! LMAO!!
He did great though, didn't feel anything...

I'm still unsure if I'm pregnant, haven't seen any spotting, I get very light cramps, or some twinges and pinches, but that doesn't tell me anything. My boobs hurt so bad, and my nipples are sensitive.
I've also have had a loose stomach, TMI!! True story though..

I also still get up to go pee in the middle of the night. Usually between 2-5 am

Last night I had a weird but also a sexual dream.. Kinda vivid.. Nice.. It's like free porn! ;D

But that's Day 4, I was so tempted to test but I can't and I won't, never have any luck with that.. I can wait until Friday! I know I can..

Today was also the last day for the pineapple core, no more after today.. I had 5 days from the day of the transfer.


Update at 11:45pm: I just saw scant brown spotting.. Eek!! :O

3dp5dt: 5 days till beta

Well, I feel nothing yet, other than moody at times and small cramps but that's about it, I'm finally able to move around but I still run out of breath so I know the OHSS is still in effect.

Tomorrow I'll be calling to see about the progesterone injection, I don't want to go on too long without it in case my levels started to drop down.

I might have my husband do the injection tonight..

We shall see...

The one that survived

I'm amazed but remain optimistic until Aug 9 after my first beta test.

But after I was told on Monday that all 21 eggs were not successful that my eggs dehydrated and started to shrink after ICSI was performed. I was told that there would be a 1% chance that maybe two embryos might be doing something.

Tuesday, another phone call the embryologist said that she saw signs of process that the cells had split, and that she would check on Wednesday afternoon and advised that is the cells continued to multiple, I would be having a late transfer or on schedule for Day 5 transfer on Thursday.

I had a visit with Dr. Lowell Ku Tuesday morning, he was only talking about getting ready for the next IVF cycle, and that it would be comped because of the rare phenomena of the eggs shrinking. He was saying the next time would happen. If the same thing happens again, they would consider donor eggs. I looked at him puzzled and asked well what happened with the two embryos that may have a chance? I was surprised, he didn't know that there was at least two surviving. He said he had asked the embryologist in the morning and she told him three was nothing.. I told him she was going to call Wednesday with an update if the embryo was to continue to multiple. He was shocked and happy to hear the news and the waiting game began.

Wednesday afternoon I got a call from the embryologist called and said I had 3 embryos that looked liked decent but at least one of them was going to be transferred and was looking like it should for day 4, she said she would call in the morning to confirm if the transfer would happen for Thursday.

Thursday I got the greatest news of my life, my baby was ready for transfer.

11:00 came along and I started to drink LOTS of water, I think I over did it cause I was allowed to pee at least 3 and half cups only..  I was so much in pain for over drinking water. Dr. Ku was running late but I got to see the first picture of my baby.

I was told from grade A being the best for Grade F being the worst, my baby was a grade C. But I'm Very okay with that, I couldn't be happier, my child already shows signs of stubbornness and strength.. A baby that wouldn't give up!

The transfer happened, not painful at all, my mom was there to hold my hand, she was able to see the baby go in and get pushed into place..

I'm still not on progesterone oil injections until my OHSS subsides, which is getting there slowly at a time.. I'll be calling Monday to check to see if its okay to start my injections.

I'm on best rest Friday and Saturday to ensure the baby implants.. I pray that my miracle baby is a sticky baby..

I'm eating my pineapple core and keeping socks on my feet. Eating warm foods and room temp water.. Trying to follow some guilds and suggestions from others for best chances..

Failed IVF ICSI

Just received the call from the embryologist, she said 21 eggs were fully matured and injected with high quality sperm, they did not fertilized.

My heart hurts, that was suppose to be the easy part.. I feel so confused.. :(

Egg ICSI Day 1

Well, I missed the phone call to see about my egg count and how many where fertilized.. I'm sad.. She said on the voice mail shed call back.. My phone does let me know what time she call because it was dead at the moment..

I feel better today, I'm about to move around better but I gotta remember to drink plenty of fluids today and high protein..

This wait is killing me, I want to know about my embabies..

Evening of egg retrieval

I am in so much discomfort!!
But I'm forcing myself to drink gaterade and water, I don't want my IVF to be cancelled because of OHSS..

I'm drinking my raspberry team leaf again up until Wednesday.

I have notice some relief but I'm sure hydrocodine had some part in that..

Egg Retrieval Day 14

This morning was the day.. Waking up afterwards in the OR, I started to cry in pain, I was hurting so bad! I think the pain matched when I had gastric bypass..

Once I was in the room they gave me more morphine.

The doctor said I had 24 eggs removed but he didn't have the official count, tomorrow I will find out how many were fertilized. My lil embabies...

The procedure took about 45 mins to an hour, I was suppose to be back within 15 mins.


My husband did his thing in a cup, he said the nudie magazines were out of date or not his liking, he said all the mags the girls had bushes! Lol horrible...


Today I'm just to relax and drink plenty of fluids, now if I could only pee!!

Funday Friday Day 13

Today I'm dedicated to full rest and no stress, plus drinking plenty of water!
I'll be waiting for my POI delivery today, hopefully within the next 2 hours.

I got my circles on my back for the poi shots.
I think my husband is a little nervous about it.

I have my alarm set for 6:45am, we need to be at the surgery center at 7:30am. I cannot wait to know how many eggs will be fertilized and healthy embabies!!

So exciting for me right now!!

HCG Trigger shot Day 12

The day has finally arrived, at 8:00pm I will be doing my trigger shot to mature my eggs for Saturday morning egg retrieval!

Most of my eggs are from 12 to 22.5 in measurement.

The shot wasn't too bad it had a moment when it stung, but not bad at all.. Very excited moment cause I know besides it helping to mature the eggs for retrieval, it's also going to help with the implantation.

I know I suffer with OHSS, so I've been drinking water like no other! It has helped with the pain, I also went and bought 3 lbs of fajita meat, I'm suppose to have a high protein diet after the retrieval.

The wait day 11

Yesterday was the last day I was to inject Menopur and Follistim. I'm scheduled for egg retrieval for Saturday morning, which is torture! I think I'm suffering from OHSS, I have so much pain when I have gas or need to pee in my right ovary section.. I have a high pain tolerance but damn, it hurts!!!

My estradiol is at 6142, my right side follicles measure between 13.5 to 20.5mm, and my left measure from 13 to 17.5mm. I'm soooo uncomfortable, but I'm glad I have Thursday and Friday off, I wouldn't of been able to concentrate.

I trigger tomorrow finally! So ready to get this over with..

Stim Day 9

It's getting closer and I'm excited but at the same time I'm pessimistic, I want to see it to believe it..

Saturdays estradiol levels were at 1562, and the biggest follicles I think I mentioned was 13.5mm.

Today's exam, the biggest was 15.5mm on left and 17mm on the other side! How exciting!!
My estradiol is at 3146.

Nurse called and advised to lower Follistim to 200units instead of 225.
I still have liquid in my uterus, my lining is about 10mm not subtracting the liquid.

Nurse thinks I should be good to go for Friday retrieval or Saturday, I'll know for sure on Wednesday on hopefully my last scan.

I'm so uncomfortable.. It hurts to sit, I feel super bloated and I get cramps in my ovaries.

My boobs hurt pretty badly too, especially on bumps and shakes riding in the truck.

My concentration level is pretty much out the door at work.. I guess my body is counting down until relief is given.. I have one more day of stim injections, when Wednesday comes along I will only use Lupron until told to stop.

Nurses say I'm looking pretty good.. Keeping thinking positive and telling myself its going to happen, it can happen.. I've changed my life and who I am for my future unborn child..

Stim day 7

Both sides of my ovaries hurt! They are almost half way there, my left side has one of the largest follicles so far measuring at 13.5mm and 12.5mm on the ride side

My blood work for Estradiol still is not in yet, hoping to see that maybe on Monday.

Injections as far as Follistim, stings so bad as I'm injecting. Menopur wasn't bad, what's bad is afterwards. It hurts and stings as the medication is spreading. Today the Menopur was leaking out after I pulled the injection.

I have about 2 to maybe 3 more days of medication left before the trigger shot.
I'm hoping after Mondays exam I will be set for Tuesday with a egg retrieval on Thursday.
Or it could be Wednesday for trigger shot and Friday for egg retrieval either way I'm nervous and excited!

I took off of work July 25 through Aug 2nd. Much needed time off!

Stim Day 6 & 7

Day 6 injections are getting pretty rough and days of feeling nauseous are too getting worse, with food cravings and I'm not even pregnant!

The injections sting pretty badly after its injected, I have to place a bag of ice to calm it down but it brings goose bumps.

I get so sleepy and tired throughout the day, I catch myself falling asleep in the middle of working.

My scan and blood draw went well, my estradiol level is up to 872.4, I have 21 follicles on the left and 2 of them are at 11mm, right side has about 24 follicles and the have yet to spout to 10mm. Lining is about 9mm with fluid in my uterus due to the estrogen building up so it's about 2-3 mm thicker

Well see how today's scan goes and blood draw. Which I am dreading because my arm is so bruised and sore.

Stim day Day 4 & 5

Yesterday's injection hurt.. Even with ice but I think it's because I put the injection in on a bruise. And Follistim burned, I'm almost done with the cartridge that is on it. I'll have to poke myself twice today with Follistim. No bueno!!

Yesterday's scan results are in! No cyst, and I have about 20 follicles on each side of my ovaries.
My Estradiol is at 323.5 which is good, I won't be needing extra Menopur. So far my projected egg retrieval will be next Thursday or Friday!! So excited!!

I have another scan tomorrow, Saturday, and Monday. I don't look forward the blood draw.. The lab tech left an ugly bruise yesterday, so I know tomorrow's blood draw is going to sting, well the next 3 will be no fun!

It's getting close!

My lining is at 7mm but she but in factors that I was still lightly flowing so I'm measured at 4 mm which is the lowest I've seen in a very long time. I've always been at 17mm or higher.

Ough.. 6 mins till injection time.. Gotta go get ready.. :/

Day 2 Stim Drugs

Well so far no side effects just yet, none out of the ordinary from Lupron.
Did my Follistim shot first, with ease..

Then the Menopur with barely any feeling, I left it out for like 10 mins before I injected Menopur, than iced down for like 2 mins. I felt nothing.

Today I alternated sides, Lupron and Follistim on the left, and Menopur on the right. Tomorrow it will be the opposite. I still get big anxiety doing the shots but its getting better.

 8 more days hopefully..

Stim injections Day 1!!

After 13 days of Lupron alone, I've noticed my side effects is a headache, and really bad nausea between 12pm to 2pm. But yesterday was really bad I seemed to be feeling sick all day, it might be that my AF arrived Friday so I have all these hormones running around cause me to be super sick with a super upset stomach.

I do my injection everyday between 7-8 am, 10 units. Today Lupron was lowered to 5 units. I know started to hate warm foods, which is a problem because I'm reading that I should be eating all warm foods. Well the whole day I had been pending my 6 pm injections, I had heard such bad stories about how badly Menopur stings or burns.

Well 6pm rolled around and I followed what I had read throughout other experiences. First I set up the medication, and I let it sit, I prepared the Follistim cleaned my stomach area and did that injection, piece of cake! Didn't even feel the needle or medication. Next was the Menopur, and I was so dreading it, my anxiety was through the roof! I went and got a piece of ice from the freezer.
Placed it on the area I was to do the injection for about 2 mins or so. Or atleast until I felt that my skin was numb. I cleaned it again with a alcohol swab, and inserted the injection while squeezing the fat on my lower abdomin. I think I let the medication sit for about 10-15 mins before I injected it, I'm not 100% sure. To my surprize it didn't hurt, nor did I feel any stinging or burning, or if I didn't it wasn't aware of it..

 I hope everyday is like this..

Road to IVF, 1st cycle

I'm pending to start my first IVF session. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. It's about $7,100.00 for IVF but about 20% from me.

We have a full nursery ready for a baby. My husband and I want a baby! Infertility has been such a huge issue with me and with my mom.. She was not successful with IVF, I was the only one she was able to conceive. I'm her lil miracle..

I'm hoping to have my one miracle or two?

I've chosen to have IVF with ICSI for a higher success rate. I also had a hysteroscopy and D&C. So I'm praying for a sticky baby or babies. I do want two good embryos.

I'm freezing my other embryos in case this isn't successful my beautiful sister in law said she would be our surrogate if come needed.

I've only been pregnant once before and it only lasted 5wks, I only got to see the yolk sac. But it was the best 5 weeks of my life! It was literally 2 weeks after we got married we conceived naturally.

It's been almost 3 years of painful testing, scrapings, horrible medications..
I let go of a previous infertility doctor, he was so admit for me to have a hysterectomy and have a surrogate.

My new doctor, Dr. Lowell Ku, has been awesome and has given me a whole new hope that I can still conceive, but we are moving fast because of my hyperplasia, in fear that it will come back.
Because it does pretty quickly.

One neat fact about Dr. Ku, we both are born on Halloween!!
How cool is that!

I gotta give him props, he's gentle, calm, and his beside manner is wonderful and understanding.
He always draws out the game plan, I've kept all of the ones they've given me, saving it for my scrap book.

This past Wednesday we completed the mandatory embryology class, medication class, and my mock transfer. Only thing we are waiting is for Aunt Flo to arrive and get this show on the road!!

My husband and myself have been together since Sept 20, 2002, pretty much right after I had started remission from having Hodgkin's disease cancer.

We got married after 8 years on Oct 30, 2010; 2 weeks later we conceived and ended up with a miscarriage after 6 weeks, from that day forward it changed our life's forever.

My husband wanted to be a dad and I wanted to be a mom for our first time ever. It took a toll on me. After countless of painful doctor visits, two gyno's and 2 infertility specialist pretty much not giving me any hope or positive feed back.

I was basically was told that I was tinkering on the line of having endometrium cancer, that if by April 2013 this doesn't clear up, I was to have a hysterectomy and I was to go ahead and find a surrogate. That beyond upset me.

This doctors name is Dr. Sye Le. I remember I left out of there crying, and started to research a lot about my situation and I remember reading about other stories similar to mind and these women had successful pregnancy's. So I searched around for another doctor. I ended up finding Dr. Lowell Ku.

Best find ever!!
